The small set of words this work leans on. Each has one canonical page that evolves in place and is never forked, dated, tended, and linked from every use across the site.
The map has two layers, and the difference between them is the thing most worth getting right. The upper layer is what every happening is, whether or not anyone is there for it. The lower layer is what some happenings do about it.
The upper layer, being written now: a happening is a knot of three tensions that completes once. Intensity, the spending into this shape. Resonance, the answering that keeps two things two. Openness, the room that is never used up. Universal, and requiring nobody.
The lower layer, planted and tended:
- tending: what a happening does when it comes to care for the tensions it is. Regional, and where you are. Start here.
Beyond the verb and its three ways:
- Once: every act happens once, and what completes does not come back.
- Death exemption: the one thing a body of thought will not let die, and the question that finds it.
Still in draft: the page for the upper layer, while its name settles. More are planted as the words settle. A term is planted when an essay needs it, never on its own schedule.
